Jesus Plus the Twelve

Jesus is from the line of David; the tribe of Judah. He chose 12 disciples. The thinking was one from each tribe. Except Luke was a Gentile and Judus betrayed him.

Any thoughts? Do you know which tribe each disciples were from? Please, help me fill in the gaps.

    That would be very interesting if they were from all 12 of the tribes but I do not know if any evidence exists for that. At least to my very little knowledge lol
