Whether you walk or run, do it with purpose. The Bible teaches us to “walk in the Spirit” (Gal 5 16) and to “run with a purpose.” And exhorts us to not stop. Gal 5:7-10
I walk everyday. Some days, not so far; the mailbox and back. Sometimes around the entry circle of the complex while others, i walk the whole complex. Then, other days, I get a bit “wild” and go hike the trails.
Didn’t know you were in a race? One of the New Testament writers said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7) He seemed to think his entire life was a race he was running.
“Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.” 1 Corinthians 9:24
As for me, i just keep putting one foot in front of the other because one day I hope to fly.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isa 40:31
